5 Day Tour in Cusco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu - Perú with Alba Weinman, Geraldine Orozco, Blair Styra and Antonio Sangio

DAY 1

Cusco City Tour 12 pm to 5:30 pm

 

Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park, Qenko, Pukapukara, Tambomachay, The Cathedral and Qorikancha

DAY 2

Sacred Valley Full Day 8 am to 5 pm

 

View Point of Sacred Vallen in Taray. Pisaq Archaelogical Park, craft market in Pisaq, lunch buffet in Urubamba, Ollantaytambo Archaeological Park.

DAY 3

Sacred Valley Full Day 8 am to 4 pm

  

 

Visit to the weaving house in the typical town of Chinchero, Llama and Alpaca feeding, Chinchero Arechaeological Park, Moray Archaeological Park (concentric terraces), Maras salt mines, and lunch buffet in Urubamba. During this day we'll make an offering to the Pachamama (Mother Earth) during a ceremony facilitated by a Shaman.

DAY 4

Humantay Lagoon 3:30 am to 5 pm

 

2-hour road trip to the town of Mollepata (9,154'), where we will stop for an hour at a restaurant for breakfast, then 1 more hour trip to Soraypampa (12,795), to start a 1.5 hours walkto the Humantay lagoon (13,780') or rent the horses that take us to the lagoon, 1 hour of ascent. Upon reaching the lagoon and after enjoying the beautiful landscapes, we will be located in a special place to have a time of relaxation and meditation and a group regression.
Upon return, we will go directly to the town of Mollepata to have lunch and finally we will return to the city of Cusco.

DAY 5

Machu Picchu 6 am to 8 pm

 

Departure from Ollantaytambo train station (1.5 hours from Cusco) on Perú Rail’s Vista Dome train, which offers a unique connection with the scenery along the way to Machu Picchu, making passengers feel as if they were somehow part of the nature that surrounds them.

We'll explore the famous Inca citadel of Machu Picchu during a two-hour guided tour. We'll then enjoy a delicious lunch buffet at a local restaurant in Aguas Calientes, before heading back to Cusco by train.

Day 5: Transportation to and from Ollantaytambo station, Vista Dome train ticket to Machu Picchu, Ticket to Machu Picchu, bus ticket from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu entrance, lunch buffet.

Accommodations are not included. You are responsible for your transportation from and to the airport.

Food: Great variety: beef, alpaca, pork, chicken, many types of vegetables (all organic), pasta, fish, trout (Andean salmon), etc.
Drink bottled water, not from the tap.
